The senior room children have all learned to knit recently and as a group they created a blanket by each creating a square and sewing them together.
They are very proud of their achievement, as novice knitters and it was wonderful to work together as a group to create something new.
Knitting offers significant well-being benefits for children, particularly with patience, concentration and creativity while also enhancing fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination and is a wonderful skill to learn.
We look forward to their next creations!
