Active School Week 2021: Surprise School Tour

The children went on a surprise school tour today (14th June) as part of Active Week. First we took a beautiful walk on the Ballycroy Boardwalk overlooking Bellacragher Bay. We walked on the seashore and learned about the flora and fauna in the area. Then we went to Mulranny Beach where the children had a picnic and had fun in the sand. We walked on Mulranny's historic causeway, climbed the 103 steps and made our way to the new playground. Finally we enjoyed a well deserved ice cream on the promenade. We are so lucky to live in such a magnificent area.
A great day was had by all!
