Oweninny Wind Farm
The Senior Room went on a trip to Oweninny Wind Farm which is the largest on shore wind farm in Ireland providing power to around 140,000 homes.
We had a show about the universe by Scientist Declan. Then Kathy, the centre manager, gave us a tour and explained about the history of the wind farm.
As we are a Green School it was great to further our knowledge on renewable energy. We had a fantastic day.

Erris Credit Union Quiz Winners 2025
Congratulations to our Junior and Senior teams who both came 1st in the Erris Credit Union Quiz. They will now represent the whole of Erris in Stage 2 of the regional rounds.
