One Book One Read

The 6th Class children attended Coláiste Pobail Acla for the "One Book, One Read" initiative. It was attended by 6th class children from seven other local primary schools who all studied Granuaile: Pirate Queen by Morgan Llywelyn. They did lovely activities such as designing boats and making their own pirate flags.

Credit Union Quiz Chapter Level

Well done to our two Credit Union teams who took part in the Chapter Level quiz in Ballina on the 6th of March. Our senior were just one point behind first place at the end and they narrowly missed out on a place in the National Final, after two nail-biting tie break rounds.

Well done to all of the children, we are incredibly proud of their efforts.

Erris Credit Union Quiz Winners 2026

Congratulations to our Senior Team Jay, Ava, Caleb, John 

and our Junior Team Leo, Conall, Aoife and Elena who both came 1st place in the annual

Erris Credit Union Quiz. 

We are very proud of all the children here in Drumgallagh NS as this is the third consecutive year that the school has won the quiz with both teams.

We wish the two teams well in the next stages of the competition in March.
