Barna Waste Art Competition Winners

Well done to these two girls on being prizewinners in the Barna Waste Art Competition, they are delighted with their prizes. Well done girls! 

 

Hoop house / mini Polly tunnel

 Our fruit and vegetables pots and trays  are now in their luxury home for a while until harvesting. The hoop house made by a  very  skilled past pupil Peadar Masterson. Well done Peadar! We look forward to planting and sowing fruits and vegetables for many years in this.

Sacrament of reconciliation.

2nd Class received their sacrament of reconciliation by Fr. Chris and had a little class celebration party to mark the very important event. 

 

Earth Day 2021

The children spent a very interesting day celebrating "Earth Day" learning about the awareness and various environmental challenges that face our planet. 

We have added to our collection of vegetable growing by setting some more vegetable seeds which the children really enjoyed and await patiently for them to grow. 

Thank you to the National Museum Of Ireland for a very interesting educational virtual event for Earth Day.
