Feast Ireland Workshop

Devin from Feast Ireland gave a very interesting presentation and demonstration chronicling Irelands food history right up to todays vibrant food culture, during Devins talk he went into detail on the nutritional benefits of the different food types , the benefits to local farmers and its sustainability, how we can reduce food wastage at home, how to preserve vegetables and how our islands sea weeds can be used. We all had the opportunity to sample the different types of food including our native food oysters, cheeses, sourdough bread and banana skin infused chutney.It really was food for thought.
