The Senior Room went on a trip to Oweninny Wind Farm which is the largest on shore wind farm in Ireland providing power to around 140,000 homes.
We had a show about the universe by Scientist Declan. Then Kathy, the centre manager, gave us a tour and explained about the history of the wind farm.
As we are a Green School it was great to further our knowledge on renewable energy. We had a fantastic day.
